We are greatly anticipating the dynamic sharing of our speaker Lisa Liou who will be sharing with us her story as she emphasizes Patience, in Waiting on the Lord. 

Lisa has served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for over 20 years, and most recently was Western Regional Director for Graduate and Faculty Ministries. She earned her Master of Arts in Theology at Fuller Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Studies. Lisa loves teaching God's Word and is passionate about prayer, and reaching the next generation. 

Our topic this year is having "Patience in Waiting on the Lord, and Lisa resonates greatly with this topic. Last year, Lisa made a leap of faith to trust God for a new season of life and ministry, leaving her long-term employer to wait on the Lord for next steps. The result has been an adventure in trust and surrender with her family, which includes Jeff, Emma (age 18), and Jesse (age 14). While waiting on God for direction, Lisa has been leading prayer groups, writing, and coaching others in ministry while also being in demand for many speaking engagements to encourage others.
